Baltimore County Auxiliary Police, volunteering to enhance public safety.

The men and women of the Baltimore County Auxiliary Police Team are trained and skilled volunteers who have the dedication, determination, and integrity to make a difference to the communities they serve within Baltimore County, Maryland. Baltimore County Auxiliary Police Officers are sworn with powers of arrest and assist the Baltimore County Police Department with patrol, calls for service, crowd and traffic control, community events and details.


The officers perform a number of duties that pertain to public safety and security for Baltimore County. They also provide aid during floods, snowstorms, and searches for missing persons. This list is only a fraction of the many responsibilities they take on as Baltimore County Auxiliary Officers.
